Conttinu Terms of Service
1. Provider and contact
Conttinu is the name of the applications and services provided by Mateusz Tomaszewski, the “Operator”, an individual, currently without a registered business. Contact and complaints address: ul. Paderewskiego 3/25, 81-198 Pogórze, Polska. Email: support@conttinu.com; telephone: +48 692 371 530. Conttinu is not a separate legal entity.
These Terms cover the iOS and Android applications and associated consumer web services. Cooperation terms for venues are established separately; these Terms do not activate a paid Partner plan. The Privacy Policy explains personal data processing. Reading it does not constitute consent to analytics, marketing or processing health data.
2. Services and cost
Conttinu helps users find venues offering gluten-free options, view information and maps, save favourites, create lists and trip plans, and publish reviews, photographs and community content. Some functions require an account. Initial store distribution covers Poland. Visits, Max messages and purchases of paid Partner plans are not enabled in the launch release.
The consumer applications are free. Using them does not start a Partner subscription, a paid mobile subscription or an obligation to buy a meal. Your usual internet charges may apply. Paid venue tools do not give venues a right to change users’ reviews or remove legitimate criticism.
3. Requirements, accounts and contract formation
You need a compatible device, the operating system version stated in the current app store listing, and internet access. The web portal requires an up-to-date browser with JavaScript; login requires essential session storage. Email registration requires a functioning mailbox and verification. Apple or Google login, where offered, requires an account with that provider. Location, photographs and notifications use separate permissions for the relevant functions. Refusing location access does not prevent manual venue searches.
Before account creation, you receive these Terms, including the community rules in section 7, and expressly accept them. The account contract is formed when the system accepts registration and continues until terminated. Use without an account requests the selected free function for the time needed to provide it; it does not consent to optional purposes. Documents can be saved and printed. Where legally required, we provide the contract confirmation and accepted terms on a durable medium.
Conttinu sets no minimum age of its own for use of the consumer app. Minors use the services with the involvement of their legal representative where required by law, in particular when entering into a contract or giving consent. The Privacy Policy explains the processing of minors' data. A Partner account and plan purchase require an adult authorised to act for the venue. Store age ratings and parental control settings may affect the ability to download the app.
Provide accurate information needed to operate your account, protect your password and do not share your account. Do not bypass security, access restrictions or blocks. Report suspected account compromise to the Operator.
4. Food information, reviews and verification
Information comes from users, venues and sources assessed by the Operator and can be incomplete or outdated. A green flag expresses a user’s assessment; a venue-managed profile label confirms authority to manage that profile. Neither is, by itself, gluten-free certification, a laboratory result or a guarantee of meal safety.
Before ordering, confirm ingredients, preparation and cross-contact risks with venue staff and consider your health needs. Conttinu does not provide medical advice or diagnosis and does not replace a doctor or dietitian. These statements do not remove the Operator’s responsibility for its own actions or for accurately describing information sources.
Reviews should describe personal experience. We use accounts, restrictions on repeated reviews, reporting and moderation; we do not check proof of purchase for every review. Do not assume every author has been verified as a venue customer. A review linked to a recorded visit, if labelled, verifies only what the label explains. Disclose professional relationships, payment or other benefits connected to a review.
Results depend on your query, filters, map area and selected sorting; some sections use popularity or editorial selection. A paid Partner plan is not food certification. Advertisements or paid placements, if presented, are labelled with the entity on whose behalf they appear and are not represented as independent reviews.
5. Content and licence
You retain rights to your content. By publishing, you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence for as long as the content is made available: digital recording and storage, copying on servers and devices, technical format, size and thumbnail adjustments, and public display and availability within Conttinu at a place and time chosen by recipients. Technical providers may perform these operations only to support the service. The licence does not cover selling your likeness, external advertising use or training AI models.
Ensure that you have rights to text, photographs and identifiable people’s images. Do not publish other people’s medical information or private contact details. The licence ends when content is removed from the active service, except for necessary backup rotation and lawful preservation of a specific dispute. Removal cannot erase copies previously saved by other recipients. Your rights concerning personal data and content after contract termination remain unaffected.
6. Visits and venue messages
Visits and Max messages are not available in the launch release. Any introduction requires prior definition of the terms, data recipients and necessary processing bases. Adding a venue to favourites or allowing system notifications does not consent to venue marketing.
7. Community rules, moderation, reporting and appeals
7.1. Scope and accuracy
These rules cover reviews, votes, photographs, avatars, threads, replies, shared plans, venue profiles, updates and messages through Conttinu and form part of these Terms. Operator: Mateusz Tomaszewski. Contact point for users, illegal-content notices and authorities: support@conttinu.com, ul. Paderewskiego 3/25, 81-198 Pogórze, Polska, telephone +48 692 371 530. We accept Polish and English and do not rely exclusively on automated contact.
Describe personal experience, distinguish fact from inference and include a date or context where helpful. Do not present a green flag, venue reply or absence of symptoms as laboratory evidence or a safety guarantee. Disclose employment, family connections, payment and benefits related to reviews. Do not buy favourable reviews or condition benefits on removing criticism.
7.2. Prohibited content and conduct
- Threats, incitement to violence, harassment, intimidation, discrimination and hate speech.
- Sexual exploitation, sexualisation of minors, intimate material shared without consent and pornography.
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, malicious links, illegal trade and instructions for criminal activity.
- Unlawful disclosure of private addresses, telephone numbers, documents, correspondence or other people’s health data.
- Violations of copyright, trademarks or image rights and sharing material without permission to use it.
- Spam, repetitive mass content, fake accounts, coordinated manipulation of reviews or reports and bypassing blocks.
- Dangerous medical advice presented as certain, encouraging people to disregard known risks and false allergen or certification statements.
Firm, lawful criticism is permitted. Paid Partners follow the same rules. Venue replies must address the experience without revealing guest data or private health arrangements.
7.3. Reporting a problem
Use “Report” next to content or email support@conttinu.com. An account is not required. An illegal-content notice should contain:
- an exact URL, identifier or description sufficient to locate the material;
- an explanation of why it is illegal and relevant context; quoting a statutory provision is not required;
- your name or organisation and email, except that these details are not required for notices concerning offences under Articles 3–7 of Directive 2011/93/EU;
- this statement: “I act in good faith and believe that the information and allegations in this notice are accurate and complete”.
Do not attach child sexual exploitation material; identify its location. For copyright notices, describe the work and your authority. We do not automatically require identity documents or medical records. You can also report breaches of these rules that are not illegal.
We acknowledge receipt without undue delay where we have an electronic contact. Notices are handled in a timely, diligent, objective and proportionate manner. We may request missing information. Urgency depends on risk, not the subscription plan. For an immediate threat to life, use 112 or the relevant emergency services; Conttinu is not an emergency service.
7.4. Assessment and reasons
We use user reports, moderator review and automated filters detecting selected prohibited patterns. A filter may refuse publication; it does not assess the truth of health information. Humans consider reports and appeals in context. We do not promise to read every item before publication.
We may warn, hide or remove material, restrict posting, suspend or terminate accounts. Decisions consider severity, repetition, context, intention, possible remediation and everyone’s rights. Serious risks may require immediate action without warning. Evidence is retained only in a necessary, restricted scope.
When restricting content or accounts for illegality or rule violations, we provide the affected person with reasons describing the restriction’s type, scope, duration and geographic extent, material facts, legal or contractual basis, automation used and available remedies, as legally required. Reporters receive the outcome and challenge options. We do not unnecessarily disclose their identity. Legally required disclosure restrictions remain applicable.
7.5. Appeals, blocks and remedies
You may appeal free of charge through support@conttinu.com for at least six months after notice of a decision. Identify the case or content and explain your grounds; no special form is required. A human reassesses it, where possible someone not involved in the first decision. We respond without undue delay, aiming for 14 days, and explain delays. Incorrect decisions are corrected promptly.
This contractual appeal route remains available even if the Operator qualifies for an exemption from certain platform duties. It does not limit access to courts, the competent Digital Services Coordinator or other applicable DSA remedies. Abusive reporting does not automatically remove protection rights; proportionate restrictions on repeated manifestly unfounded notices will generally follow a warning.
You may block another user in the app. Blocking limits interactions within the relevant function; it does not remove all that person’s content from the internet. Report malfunctioning blocks to the Operator.
8. Complaints, conformity and liability
Send complaints to support@conttinu.com or the Operator’s address. Describe the problem, when it occurred and the requested remedy; do not send passwords. We respond on a durable medium within 14 days of receipt. Where the law treats failure to respond as acceptance of a complaint, that effect applies.
The Operator is responsible for its own service under applicable law. A user entitled to consumer protection may request supply or restoration of conformity and, in statutory cases, a price reduction or withdrawal. We do not charge to exercise these rights for a free service. We supply legally required updates, including security updates, for the required period and explain important updates and the consequences of not installing them.
We do not exclude liability for personal injury, intentional conduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. A supplier outage does not automatically remove our duties. We do not guarantee a venue’s business outcomes or the accuracy of every third-party review.
9. Termination, withdrawal and data
You may end the free contract at any time by deleting your account in the app or requesting termination from the Operator, without a fee or notice period. Uninstalling the app does not delete the account. An account deletion route without the app is also available.
We grant consumers 14 days from contract formation to withdraw without giving a reason, including when the free nature of a function would otherwise exclude a statutory withdrawal right. Starting use does not remove this right. Send a clear statement before the deadline; the form is optional. See Complaints and Withdrawal for recovering data and content.
10. Changes, service closure and disputes
Terms may change because of changes in law, store requirements, necessary security measures, functionality or service delivery. We explain the reason, text and effective date at least 30 days in advance, on a durable medium where legally required. A shorter period applies only to the extent necessary for a legal obligation or immediate threat. Changes are not retroactive and do not remove acquired rights.
A material change to terms requiring acceptance is presented for a new decision. Silence is not consent. Complaints, data rights and termination remain available. Digital service changes beyond maintaining conformity must satisfy statutory conditions, including no additional cost and, where applicable, a 30-day right to terminate. We give at least 30 days’ notice of planned closure of the entire service unless law or an urgent threat requires otherwise.
Polish law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence. Jurisdiction is determined by law; no exclusive Operator’s court is imposed on consumers. Consumer advisers and authorised dispute resolution bodies can help. If a complaint remains unresolved, we provide legally required information about participation in out-of-court proceedings. The Polish and English versions have the same scope; discrepancies cannot limit user rights.
